Ordered my closet i found these old suuper baggy jeans that i dont wear since ages, but i really love it. So i'm start wondering myself: what could i make with them,  now that the summer and  good weather it's coming?, and voilá!
This was the result , a pretty cropped wide leg trousers adjusted to the knee.
And the best of all? you only need a few inches of elastic, and in less than half an hour you will have ready your new trousers!

Try on your trousers and make a mark to the new length you want for them (I marked right below my knee). We're going to cut 2 inches below this mark.
This seam allowance bellow the mark is for the hem, because when you add the elastic, the fabric its about to wrinkle, and the trousers will be shorter

Serge off your seams, do a zig zag stitch, or use a serger machine to keep the fabric from fraying.

Make a 1 inch hem, and iron all the way around.

Sew the hem 0/3" and leave a small opening about 1 inch  so you can get your elastic in and out.
To know how much elastic we need,  measure around the bottom part of your knee, and add 1/4" to this measure.
Now with a safety pin, we'll push the elastic all the way around through the opening until it comes out the other side.

Overlap your elastic by 1", and sew the elastic ends together with a 3-point zig zag stitch.

For the last step, sew the hem's opening with a normal stitch
